Nowadays, the demand for printed matter using special ink (such as gold, silver, pearlescent, and fluorescent ink) to improve their quality is increasing. In actuality, no matter how high-quality the products and services are, it will be hard for them to carry a good image if the packaging and advertising posters are not good. This results from the fact that products and packages are regarded as the same thing .
In fact, there are many people interested in how printed matter using special inks are made, and what should be done in order to develop the desired quality. We sincerely wish that by looking over this special issue of MEGAMI, these interests will be satisfied.
